Puppy Love

I've had this coloured up and all for a while, so here goes for posting it :P

This is for a small boy, his colour of choice right now is purple, so I know it when I saw it in the pile
(and besides, he just got a puppy) The dp's are DCWV.
The image is Aurora Wings' Puppy in Boot, coloured with no lines technique :)

Day of the Dead Marie

Oh, areyou going to love the new release from Stamps by Aurora Wings
It's the "Day of the Dead Marie", and yes, that is correct...it's THE Marie; Marie Antoinette! Sugar skulled and gorgeous!

And here is my creation; I hope you feel inspired, and I certainly hope you check out the other creations at the Showcase Blog

I made an easelcard from black and mustardyellow bazzill, with a Moxxie halloween dp.
My marie, in black and white, with pop's of colour. Copic Sketch, GelPen, and Liquid Pearls.
I misted some flowers to fit with the colours, and then I added some simple bling. The border is Dusty Attic, embossed with Dandylion green yellow and Black.

Grungy Trooper

So....I've ventured into the world of altered art again - as I do from time to time. This one I just had to make!
Me and my babe were on a date last weekend, and we went to this amazing new place; "La Vida tapas Revolution". Sooooo good food, and to boot, they served the beer I've been looking for every time we've been in England; Iron Maiden's "Trooper"!!!! :D
Love Love Love ^_^

The bottle was fab, and the nice waitor said I could bring it home, so I did :P

First I covered everything but the tag with Black Gesso and some texture paint (Eddie is too cool), then i splattered it with cracklepain Old Paper, Copper, and Platinum, and left it to dry overnight. I also sprinkled over it some Copper GlassGlitter and some Zinc mica-flakes
Some layers thicker than others, as to get good cracks :)
Then I added decos. Dusty Attic chipboard embossed with Fran'Tage Aged Silver and Aged Bronze. I then added some stickles and some bling, and a glittery word on the back, "ROCK".

As said, coloured with Copic Sketch, detailed with GelPen and Stickles
I added a cute sentiment, "The answer is Wine; who cares about the question". I will be giving this to a friend who just had her birthday :)
