Reverie in purple

Hello everyone :)
I hope you are all having a great start to the week?
I sure am! Today is my birthday, and I am allowed to do exactly what I want, so ofcourse I did some crafting (we celebrated on saturday).
This one features Reverie, from Aurora Wings.

I did this with a subtle brown bazzill, and some scraps of DP's from G45, BoBunny and DCWV.
my image - i love this one! - ofcourse coloured with copics :)
I added some butterflies from Petaloo, and some word-stickers from Holtz.
I am making this for my cousin who's getting confirmated in June - i hope she will like it!

Altered Art with a Mixed Media flare

Hello! Boy am I excited to show you all this!
I've been working on it for days, with layers upon layers of dryingtime and waiting....
But I am so pleased with the result, and it's gotten the spot of honour on my crafting desk :)

I used my empty perfume bottle, Ed Hardy's Skulls and Roses (image from Fragrantica.com),
so this is the before image :)

And then my fun started! First, sanding it down and giving it two layers of white gesso
When it was dry, I misted the entire thing with LSG's Freaky Frankenlime and Rusty Lantern Lime
Then I started with Testure paste - my newest love! Between the lid (put on crooked) and the skull itself I added some brainy parts, I also made some smaller strands to resemble crackedareas. Then...leave to dry....for a Loooooong time :)
The brains were drizzled with ReInkers Spiced Marmelade and Tea Dye. When that dried I added some Brown ink that I had for my fountainpen, and left to... mmh, that yes, to dry :P Meanwhile I used texturepaste to make cracks with a stancil, when they were dry I misted them with Frankenlime, Pegleg Pete Purple and Steel Shimmer before I glued them on the skull
I then plattered it with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze Chianti ang Glimmer Glam Lime Cordial, and then it got to dry :)
Then I added some Distress ink around the eyes, in Ripe Persimmon and Squeezed Lemonade, and I let it run a bit, then i detailed further with the Glimmer Glam. I added loads to the eyesockets and let it run down with the distress ink.

And tadaa, I have my very own ZombieSkull with it's brains coming out :)
I hope you enjoyed my mixed media altered art piece as much as I did!

Kitten-time

Hello there,
it's time for another card :) I've had a play with some A Day for Daisies images, and this adorable kitty that went fishin' was just too cute :)

I went for light turquoise and white bazzill, with DP's in shades of grays, whites and turquoises from my stash.
 I had a small plastic-wrapper window that I saved, and I decided to make a shaker-card. Seeing as I love cats, I added microbeads and small hearts <3 coloured="" copics.="" image="" is="" my="" p="" with="">

My decorations are some Prima SIIC's, lace, stickles Sea Glass, some WOC flowers and Prima vines.
Most of my layers were distressed with FranTage Aged Aqua and Shabby Blue.

Challenges:

Little Kitsune Anko

Another great new image from Aurora wings!
Are you ready? I think you better brace yourself - I really really adore this one :D

She comes in a fancy, and a more fancy, version! I had a play with the fanciest of them :)

The second I saw her I knew she'd be the star of the Kabuki theatre! I love Kabuki, and I love the use of dark and golden colours. Her colours are inspired by a red fox, witch fits in with the rest of the colourtheme :)
She's coloured with a mix of Polychromos and Inktense, and the background is Inktense with water.

I used black bazzill with gold glitter cardstock, and dp's from G45's wonderful collection "Bird Song". I fussycut the bird and the lilies from the JoyLuck paper.
I added some old bronze sakura-branch charms, and matching filigree-corners, and added some bling and Prima SIIC.

Challenges:
TopTip - 3 of something (3x designpapers, 3x prima SIIC, 3x bling in the corner)
Create and Inspire - All goes

Dance the Day away!

Here I am again!  :D
I've made some cards recently - that is to say, I am still making them - after a very long day of colouring last weekend :P This one features one of Mayzy's Art's cuties..

I had a dive in my scrap-pile to make this, getting some DCWV papers :)
The little cutie is coloured with Copics.
I added some lace with pearls, some Prima flowers and some stickles in Glam Pink and Thistle.

Challenges:

Fragile heart

Hi everyone! I admit, work got the better of me - I intended to get this posted yesterday...
Overtime will do that to you, I suppose..
Well, here it comes now :)
I went for some grey-tones papers from my stash, with some golden hints to them. We've had a few days of snow the last weeks, and only my poor crocuses are showing now - this card is a bit inspired by this :) They look so bright out there in the white...
My image is coloured with Copics, and even though my hubby says she looks like WonderWoman, she's not supposed to be :P I used simple decos, some bling and some liquid pearls.
I'll leave you with this closeup :)
